Ordering
How does ordering actually work?
You tell us your date and your colors — a Pinterest board or a bridesmaid dress name is plenty to start. We match your linens, confirm everything with you, and deliver to your venue. You approve the plan before anything ships, and the price you see is the price you pay.
Are linens new or previously used?
Linen Lab is a rental service, so the linens we send may come from maintained rental inventory and may have been used at previous events. Before fulfillment, items are inspected, cleaned, and pressed. Slight differences in texture, finish, dye lot, or ordinary rental wear can happen, but the linens should still be event-ready and consistent with the product you ordered.
How far ahead should I order?
About two weeks before your date is plenty, and earlier is always welcome. It gives us room to match, press, and deliver without anyone rushing — including you.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price you see covers the linens and the coordination. Delivery to your venue and the prepaid return label are spelled out up front, so the number you approve is the number you pay.
Sizing
How do I know what size linens I need?
It is simpler than it looks: your tablecloth size is your table’s width plus the drop — how far the cloth hangs down each side. For the floor-length look most brides reach for, that is a full drop on every side. You do not have to do the math, though — tell us your tables and we size everything for you. What if my tables are an unusual size?
Send us the dimensions and we handle it. We carry sizes for standard round and banquet tables, and we will tell you the right fit for anything in between before you order.
Colors & matching
Will the colors actually match?
That is the whole point of what we do. Send us your palette — even a bridesmaid dress name or a photo — and we match your linens to it across more than 200 shades. If a shade is close rather than exact, we tell you before you order, so there are no surprises at the venue.
What if it looks different in person than on my screen?
Screens lie, so we do not ask you to trust one. Start a free consultation and we will confirm the match against real references — like the Azazie or Birdy Grey color you are working from — before anything ships.
Can you match a specific bridesmaid dress color?
Yes — that is exactly what we are built for. Tell us the dress (an Azazie or Birdy Grey shade name works great) and we match your linens to it across a 200+ shade catalog. Our color guides show how it comes together.
Delivery
Where and when do the linens arrive?
We deliver to your venue anywhere in the country, and they arrive pressed and ready to lay straight onto the table. About two weeks before your date is the sweet spot — early enough that nothing feels rushed, close enough that you are not storing linens for a month.
Care
Will the linens arrive wrinkled?
No. Everything is pressed and inspected before it leaves us, and it arrives ready to lay straight onto the table. You should not have to track down a steamer the morning of your wedding.
What happens if something spills or tears?
Weddings are messy and we plan for it. Normal wear, small spills, and the occasional drop of wine are expected and covered — you are not on the hook for a glass of red.
Returns
How do returns work after the wedding?
Easy, on purpose. A prepaid return label is included, so after your event you pack the linens back up and hand them to UPS — no laundering, no dry cleaning, no trip to a depot. We take care of the cleaning on our end.
What if something is damaged beyond a normal spill?
Normal wear and the occasional spill are already covered by your damage waiver — you are not on the hook for a glass of red. We only reach out if something is truly beyond normal use, and we are upfront about any cost before it is charged.
